Now I know most people would cough a little heavily when I tell them that this, yes,

Eames Lounge Chair with Ottoman is $7,745.00 and that's the basic model. But hey, that does include the ottoman. This has been on my

radar for what seems like forever and part of me believes

I was born with an silver spoon in my mouth. But this

classic mid century modern furniture piece is truly

“the one” that says rolex in the world of furniture. It says “i’ve

made it” and it’s a head turner.

Originally produced by the Herman Miller company and

still in production today, every chair is considered an

original. The concept was created by the husband and

wife team Ray and Charles Eames and I am quite

embarrassed to admit, that even just now, did I learn

that Ray was a she and not a he. Ouch. So much for the

feminist movement. Ray and Charles wanted to create

a product that was a modern take on the classic

victorian club chair and make it as comfortable as an

old catchers mitt. Of course, every American could

relate to that, given baseball is one of their beloved

sports.

But, more importantly this Canadian girl gives it a “two

snaps up and a circle” and in her world of design

accolades.

If your interested in purchasing this chair I have a direct

link and offering a welcome discount to celebrate my

very first blog here at ADELINE HOME.

From this little snowy beach town of Cobourg Ontario;

Stay warm and stay beautiful.
